INTRODUCING HUSH

Laid-back Australian style reigns supreme over at Hush, and we’re absolutely obsessed with their high-quality, chilled-out looks. At the heart of the brand is the belief that clothes should feel as good as they look, so expect super soft, comfy pieces that you’ll wear over and over again.

The brand was founded by Mandy, an Aussie with a dream that was hatched on her 3-hour commute from London to Maidenhead when she moved to the city. A redundancy propelled her to finally start the business, and she manufactured a few pairs of pyjamas to start with, and, well, let’s just say the rest is history.

The brand prioritises great quality, meaning the clothes last for a long time and still look amazing after many wears. That’s why we’re so excited to welcome them into our pre-loved family! We love to keep great clothes in the hands of the people who are going to wear and love them.

WHERE DO I SEND MY OLD HUSH CLOTHES, SHOES AND ACCESSORIES?

To us, of course! When you’re no longer wearing your old clothes from Hush, you can send them to us via the takeback scheme here.

Hush design clothes to be worn. A lot. Over many seasons and hopefully by more than one person. So if you’re no longer wearing some of your Hush pieces for whatever reason, we’d love it if they could find a new home.

It’s very simple, just select the items you want to send, we’ll give you a free postage sticker, and you can drop them off at the nearest Evri parcel shop. Once we receive your parcel at our warehouse, our team will check it straight away, and send you a voucher to spend on the Hush website so you can reinvest in something you can wear for years to come.

We are certainly not fussy when it comes to what you send your items back to us in. If you can recycle old packaging, then that’s the best, but if not, feel free to use something new (bonus points if it’s recyclable). We’ve had takeback parcels come through in everything from Amazon boxes to Tesco bags, so trust us, yours won’t be the only one.

If you send eligible items from Hush, we’ll reward you with a voucher for up to £25 off your next order on their website, to spend on anything you fancy. The moment we receive your takeback to our East London sorting centre, we’ll check it and drop you an email to say your voucher has been activated.

WHY SHOULD YOU TAKE PART IN A TAKEBACK SCHEME?

Because takeback schemes are amazing! If you can’t be bothered leaving something on a resale website for months, waiting for someone to buy it, then a takeback scheme is a great way to get rid of something you don’t wear any more and get rewarded.

We make sure nothing gets sent to landfill, so you don’t need to worry about the clothes you send us being irresponsibly dealt with. If something isn’t fit for having a new home, we’ll either repair it, or we’ll recycle it.

Some fabrics are great, because we can turn them right back into new clothes. For others, we have to be a little more creative. We work with upcycling designers to turn them into new things, or as a last resort they’re recycled into cloths or stuffing. Nothing is wasted, and nothing ends up being incinerated or thrown away.

Clothes are a valuable resource, and we want to make sure they are kept around for as long as possible so less new resources are used up.
